Black Sea Motel

The motel was ideally located, just a short distance from the beach. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary ingredients. The hotel owners were exceptionally kind and helpful, providing prompt and generous hospitality. We are grateful for their efforts and will definitely return.

Zerrin and her family are amazing people, they have a very cozy and homey feel to the motel. The lake views are incredible and it's right in front of it so you can just walk over. They also have ample seats, individual room parking and BBQs for guests to use. Don't forget to check out their restaurant next door as well called "Elma". Will definitely be back!

Perfect location if you are a beach goer! Steps away from the cross walk that takes you directly onto the sand! As for the motel itself, it is your average motel. There is nothing fancy about it. The room we had was decent, has a kitchenette, separate bedroom. Separate living room. And a semi-large bathroom. They have plates, utensils and cookware available to use. The parking lot was a bit tight and kinda sketchy once you get a bunch of cars in there. The location though is perfect, beach side, close to amazing restaurants and ice cream shops. There is a large playground about a 5 minute walk down the road and the Loco landing amusement is about a 3 minute walk! How could it get any better. For the price ($169+tax) I think it is a little steep for what you truly get. The service was okay, nothing spectacular. She took my cc info over the phone and told me it would be processed before I got there, which it never was and then when I got there she said I could pay anyway but then made me pay by credit card and then took the number down after the payment had gone through, so it was a little sketchy but I haven't noticed a problem with my card so I guess were good..

Very comfortable and quiet motel literally right across from the lake. Few nice restaurants within walking distance. We rented 2 room suite which was clean and comfortable. Awesome owners! I would definitely stay here again.

Super clean motel room and wonderful owners! Definitely a “motel” but it was quiet in the room (Saturday night during Peachfest!) Highly recommend.

We visited this motel at the end of May, family of 3. The room is very comfortable, clean and has everything you need such as AC,TV snack bar, bathroom supplies. The location is great, close to everything in the city,15 steps away from the lake! and has free parking. Check in and out was so easy. The owners/managers are probably the best people you'd encounter in Canada in terms of friendliness and thoughtfulness,. They're very hospitable accommodating! I hope to visit Penticton again soon and stay at this cozy motel.

This is our first experience with this Motel. We really love it. The location is amazing. The staff are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was so convenient. The only thing is that there is no swimming pool, however we are definitely back here.

Certainly one of the best place to stay in Penticton. Not expensive, the room was nice and clean, with what you need for vacation, but the location is AWESOME!!!! We had a room right across the beach and the view is one of the best. The motel is close to all the restaurants on Lakeshore and the owners are such nice and friendly people! They will help you with anything you need. Definitely recommended!
